Principal living in Marylebone is seeking an experienced live-out head housekeeper to work either 5 days per week to ensure the maintenance of a large residence fully staffed on a daily basis. The Principal is in London most of the year but travel during the school holidays, while away you will be expected to do a full deep cleaning of the property and work alongside the other full-time housekeeper.

- Position – Full time – Live out – Monday to Friday – 9 am to 7 pm

Suitable candidates will need to be an excellent team player with a professional yet open attitude. You will be expected to travel overseas occasionally within the principal. Your housekeeping and laundry/wardrobe skills must be exceptional, flexibility to work long shift while the Principal is in residence is a must.
Responsibilities:
Tasks will include but not only;
- Preparing a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Cleaning the property to the highest standard
- Keeping refrigerators clean and discarding out-of-date items
- Polishing brass and silver, antiques and fine furniture
- Cleaning windows inside
- Washing, hand wash ironing, and dry cleaning drop off and collection
- Managing the wardrobe
- Answering door
- Carrying out weekly grocery shopping
- Handling petty cash and debit cards
- Packing and unpacking suitcase
- Managing the other full-time cleaner
- Carrying out any other tasks that the employer may reasonably ask
Key qualifications:
- 5 years experience within the similar position
- Up to date cv with checkable references
- Must be friendly
- Be self-starting
- Organized
- Sharp eyes to details
- Flexible when needed
- Great sense of humor with a can-do attitude
- Ability to travel when required (occasionally)
- Be a team player
- A driver is a plus
- Large Private residence experience is a must
