To look after one boy (11 months old in April 2022)

Start date: April 2022 for a minimum of one year, with possibility to extend further.

English speaking mums.

Location: Highate (N6) for one month or two then Mill Hill (NW7) for three to six months before the family definitely moves in North London (the family will be looking to buy a property).

Working days and hours:
Four days a week (Monday to Thursday) from 8am to 6pm or from 8.45am to 5.30 pm depending on the days. Occasional babysitting in the evening. -
Salary: £13-£14 net per hour (about 40h/week - £520-£560 net per week)

Housework: all the nursery duties. The family has a housekeeper.

Bonus if the nanny can drive. The family can provide a car if needed.

Language requirements: English speaking (fluent or native).

The family is looking for someone kind and energetic who takes real interest in children and their development and who can be part of the family and a point of consistency for the child during a house move.

Main duties:
Follow the baby’s nap and feeding schedule, suggest age-related adjustments where necessary, play imaginatively with him through creative play, crafts, messy play, singing, letting him ‘help’ with the cooking etc. (Montessori methods encouraged).
Take him on outings to the park, the playground, museums etc. including to some playgroups/classes
Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for lunch and dinner (the child has a cow’s milk allergy so cannot have dairy at the moment)

The nanny must be fully vaccinated and non-smoker.

Up-to-date Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS check

At least two checkable references

At least 5 years’ experience looking children including older babies / toddlers (the family will consider less for exceptional candidates)
