Save the date! The Night of Ideas is back for a fourth edition, taking place simultaneously in Paris, London and other venues worldwide on Thursday 30 January 2020.
The Institut français, the Higher Education and Research Department and the Cultural Department of the French Embassy have put together a thought-provoking programme of debates, performances and screenings exploring the latest ideas behind the issues central to our times. Crossing French, British and European perspectives, the next edition of the Night of Ideas will engage audiences in free debates with the theme ALIVE! as the common thread to question today’s challenges.
At a time when the natural world is threatened and technology seems all-powerful, let’s collectively question the boundaries of our humanity and rethink what we once took for granted. The Night of Ideas will bring together scientists, citizens and artists to breathe life into these discussions, mapping out potential solutions and inviting audiences to take matters into their own hands.
