The Institut français du Royaume-Uni, Warner Classics and Gramophone magazine are proud to present an evening with the conductor John Nelson , Berlioz expert Bruno Messina and friends hosted by Gramophone’s Editor-in-Chief James Jolly with live music by the Egyptian soprano Fatma Said , who has established a reputation as an extraordinarily gifted musician and is a former member of the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist scheme.

Join us for an evening of music and conversation marking the 150th anniversary of Hector Berlioz, the French Romantic composer who created some of the greatest and most enduring works in the classical and operatic repertoire such as Les Troyens , Symphonie fantastique , Roméo et Juliette , Les Nuits d’été and Benvenuto Cellini .
