Concert - Naomi Pacific

Please join us for the concert of Naomi Pacific on Wednesday 23 May at 7.30pm.

Naomi Pacific is a Swiss musician and filmmaker currently based in East London.

She writes songs about intimate and absurd situations, ranging from the heart as an old man spinning on an ice rink to love songs to the night. Her idea of paradise includes a beach and a guitar, a fire and some kites, lots of words and giggles.
Her lyrics are largely influenced by confessional poets such as Sharon Olds and absurd writers such as Samuel Beckett, and she mixes these with mellow and alternative melodies influenced by the likes of Daughter, Alt J, and Nick Mulvey. She is also a filmmaker and likes to see what different art mediums can bring to each other.
